MSE researchers hope to develop ultra-efficient energy production and storage with advancements in quantum computing.

Guozhong Cao, Charles Marcus, Di Xiao and Xiaodong Xu were named on Clarivate’s annual list of Highly Cited Researchers.

A team led by MSE professsor Xiaodong Xu has announced a significant advancement in developing fault-tolerant qubits for quantum computing.

The professor — who holds joint positions in materials science and engineering, physics and at PNNL — will begin his appointment on March 16.
