High school students experience the exciting field of material science hands-on. Students have access to high-tech equipment and professional mentors to help them tackle real problems facing the field today.
In April, elementary through high school students explore interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and UW labs. High school students and families learn about admissions, financial aid, engineering programs, and university life. MSE students, researchers and faculty host some of the favorite exhibits each year.
Parent & Family Weekend is a three-day exploration of the Husky experience for parents, families and students to dive deep into the UW. College of Engineering advisers attend the event to pay special attention to those interested in engineering.
