MSE Student Spaces and Keys
Keys
Obtain keys for your entire time in the department by completing the Key Request form and sending it to Carter Beamish (cbeamish@uw.edu). He will then contact you for pick up at the front desk or in his office in 156 Mueller.
Roberts Hall 4th Floor
Most areas require keys to check out:
- Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
- MSE conference rooms (reserve via UW CORAL through the MyMSE portal). Details below.
- Cubicle spaces for all graduate students. Ph.D. students may request individual spaces, subject to availability, by contacting Carter.
MSE Conference Rooms
Reserve via UW CORAL. Some require keys that you will temporarily check out from the front desk in 302 Roberts.
- Roberts 321 and Wilcox 243 have projection systems with HDMI and display screens (ideal for exams and presentations).
- Roberts 4th-floor rooms are available for small group meetings.
AMP Room (Mueller 160)
Small office space with lockers (bring your own padlock). Key required to check out.
Other Spaces
- Some rooms require Husky Card access, which Carter can set up for spaces in Roberts, Mueller, and Wilcox.
- MolES rooms can be checked out here: Meeting Rooms – Collaboration Core.
- For spaces outside of MSE, you'll need to coordinate with the relevant departments or libraries.
