Use

Open to all users with a UW-budget number. This instrument is not available for non-UW users expect on a case by case basis.

Mueller Hall

Training

Training is in two sessions to be completed within one week of each other.

  1. Demonstration of the instrument; discussion of sample preparation and use policies
  2. Driver's test

A user unable to demonstrate competence in the test session may retake it in a third session.

NOTE: You must know the index of refraction for your material, your material should not be less than 100 nm, and no magnetic materials are allowed.
