About
The MSE Undergraduate Labs, Composite Shop, and Machine Shop offer a variety of fabrication and testing equipment for students and researchers. These resources help students learn by doing, allowing them to put into practice concepts from the classroom.
The shops are staffed by professional engineers, machinists, and technicians. The shop staff train users and are available to consult on projects.
Most use of the shops and equipment is fully subsidized for undergraduates. See the rates page for information on non-undergraduate use and rates.
